Advanced Veterinary Nursing BSc (Hons)

The Advanced Veterinary Nursing BSc (Hons) program at the Dundalk Institute of Technology is a one-year undergraduate degree designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in veterinary nursing. The program features a combination of lectures, seminars, and practical experience in veterinary clinics, providing students with hands-on experience in caring for animals. The curriculum covers topics such as animal anatomy, physiology and pathology; first aid; nutrition and husbandry; clinical practice; surgery and anaesthesia; and pharmacology.
