Early and Modern Irish BA Hons

The Bachelor of Arts in Early and Modern Irish at Trinity College Dublin is an innovative four-year program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the history, language, and culture of Ireland from pre-Christian times to the present day. The program features a dynamic curriculum that covers topics such as the cultural and political history of Ireland; traditional music, art and literature; the Irish language; and modern Irish society. Students will gain hands-on experience through field trips to archaeological sites, archives, museums, and other places of historical or cultural interest. Graduates of this program will be well prepared for careers in teaching, archiving or museum studies, media production & journalism or public policy & government services. They may also pursue further studies leading towards advanced degrees such as Masters or Doctoral programs which allows them to become experts within their chosen field while making meaningful contributions towards safeguarding and promoting the heritage of Ireland for generations to come.
