Middle Eastern and European Languages and Cultures BA

The Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern and European Languages and Cultures at Trinity College Dublin is a four-year program designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the languages, cultures, and societies of the Middle East and Europe. The program provides students with an in-depth exploration into language learning, with courses on Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Hebrew, French, German, Spanish and more. Students will also gain insight into the history and politics of both regions through coursework on topics such as gender studies, international relations, migration studies and conflict resolution. This interdisciplinary curriculum allows students to gain expertise in linguistics as well as deep cultural knowledge that can be applied to various fields such as diplomacy, translation services or teaching. Graduates from this program are well prepared for careers that require a strong understanding of global issues or cross-cultural communication skills while making meaningful contributions towards creating bridges between cultures worldwide.
