Physics and Astrophysics: Physical Sciences BA Hons

The Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Astrophysics at Trinity College Dublin is an interdisciplinary program that combines fundamental physics concepts with the study of astronomy, cosmology, and astrophysics. This four-year degree will provide students with a comprehensive education in topics such as thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and electromagnetism while also giving them the opportunity to explore advanced concepts in astrophysics and cosmology. Students will gain hands-on experience through laboratory courses including observational projects using telescopes on campus as well as other state-of-the-art equipment. Graduates from this program are well equipped for careers in research laboratories or industry as experts in their field while making meaningful contributions towards developing new technologies and exploring our cosmic universe.
