Academic English (15 Weeks)

The 1 semester Preparatory program at the UCD English Language Academy provides students with an intensive 15-week course in Academic English. This program focuses on developing the fundamental language and study skills needed for academic success, including preparing for exams, essay writing, reading comprehension, and presentation skills. Through this program, students will also build their confidence in using English to communicate effectively in formal contexts. Classes are small and interactive, allowing students to receive personalized instruction from experienced teachers who will guide them through each step of the way. With a varied curriculum that includes special courses such as business communication or media writing, this program is an excellent opportunity for students to acquire the necessary skills to excel at university while also developing their fluency in the English language.
