General English (5 Weeks)

The 1 semester Preparatory program at the UCD English Language Academy is a comprehensive 5-week General English course designed to help international students improve their language skills and prepare them for further studies in the English language. This program features a dynamic curriculum that covers listening, speaking, reading, writing, and pronunciation skills in a communicative approach. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about American culture and develop their fluency in spoken and written English through interactive activities including debates, discussions, and presentations. Upon completion of this program, students will have acquired the necessary skills to succeed in their academic studies as well as professional settings. With highly qualified instructors and small class sizes, this program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain a strong foundation in English language learning and become more confident speakers of the language.
