The Master of Arts in Criminology at University College Cork is a rigorous one-year program that focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of crime. Students will learn about the various aspects of criminal behaviour, its etiology, and how it intersects with social justice and public safety issues. The program covers topics such as criminal law, criminological theory, crime analysis, restorative justice, and victimology. Drawing from multiple disciplines like psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, political science, and economics to provide students with an interdisciplinary approach to studying crime.
