The Bachelor of Arts in Early Years and Childhood Studies from University College Cork is a four-year program that focuses on the well-being, education, and development of children aged 0 to 8. The program combines classroom instruction with experiential learning opportunities such as field placements, providing students with a comprehensive education in early years and childhood studies. Students will gain a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of young children while also developing their skills in areas such as play therapy, observation techniques, and educational planning. Graduates from this program will be equipped to pursue careers in early childhood education, childcare settings or working with vulnerable or at-risk children.
