Industrial Physics - BSc (Hons)

The 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) program in Industrial Physics at University College Cork provides students with an excellent education in the field of physics and its applications to industry. This interdisciplinary degree combines traditional physics topics such as mechanics, wave theory, thermodynamics and optics with relevant industrial engineering principles such as materials science, electronics and numerical analysis. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the physical principles that underpin modern technology and have the opportunity to develop their practical skills through laboratory and project work. Graduates from this program are well prepared for a variety of careers in industry, from research and development to product design.
