Irish Language and European Law (MA)

The Master of Arts in Irish Language & European Law at University College Cork is a one-year program designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary education in the fields of Irish language and European law. This program features a comprehensive curriculum that covers key topics such as constitutional law, legal history, international law, and Irish language studies. Students will gain an understanding of both the legal framework surrounding the EU and its institutions, as well as the history and culture of Ireland’s native language. They will also gain hands-on experience through real-world projects and guest lectures from prominent industry professionals. Graduates of this program will be well prepared for careers in policy development, legal research, public affairs consulting, or EU service providers.
