History MA

The two-year Master of Arts in History at the University of Limerick offers an immersive experience into the past and provides students with an in-depth understanding of key historical events and figures. The program features a comprehensive curriculum that covers theoretical and methodological approaches to history, as well as a range of topics such as global history, political history, economic history, and religious history. Students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience through laboratory work, fieldwork, and independent studies. Graduates from this program will be well-prepared for careers in academia or other related fields such as teaching, museum curation, media & communications, publishing & writing, or public policy.
