The Master of Arts in Law, Human Rights and Criminal Justice at the University of Limerick is an innovative one-year program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the law, human rights and criminal justice systems. The program offers a multidisciplinary approach, combining coursework from areas such as constitutional law, international law, criminal justice studies and social policy. Through intensive study and research, students will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of criminal justice policy, practice and research. They will develop an in-depth understanding of various legal frameworks and procedures, as well as gain insight into how human rights are protected within a legal context. Graduates from this program will be well-equipped for careers in areas such as public policy analysis, government work or private practice; as well as for further studies leading towards advanced degrees such as a Doctoral degree in Law or related field. This program provides students with excellent opportunities to gain access to challenging roles within the legal profession while making meaningful contributions towards upholding human rights
