The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Intellectual Disability) at the University of Limerick is a four-year interdisciplinary program combining coursework from nursing and other disciplines such as psychology, sociology, and social work. The program provides students with a comprehensive education in the care and support of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Students will gain hands-on experience through clinical placements in both community-based and residential settings, providing them with an opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities.
