Social Sciences BSc

The Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences at the University of Limerick is a four-year program that provides students with a comprehensive education in the various disciplines of social sciences. The program features courses from a variety of fields, including politics, sociology, anthropology, economics, and psychology, allowing students to gain an understanding of the complexities of modern day society and its role in our lives. Students will also develop their research and analytical skills through projects and laboratory work while gaining hands-on experience relevant to their chosen field. Graduates from this program are well-prepared for careers in government or non-governmental organizations, media & communications, consulting services or public administration. This interdisciplinary program also provides them with an opportunity to pursue further studies leading towards advanced degrees such as Master's programs allowing them to become experts within their chosen field while making meaningful contributions towards effective social change.
